This Is A Book Blog

I need to stop talking about pizza.

Currently reading: If on a winter’s night a traveler by Italo Calvino. I usually find addressing the reader to be an overly simplistic device, but Calvino does it in a way that blends into the prose flawlessly. There is no way to tell his story without the inclusion of the reader as a participant.

I had to read Calvino’s Invisible Cities for an urbanization class, and I can’t say I’m a big fan………but maybe I’ll try out this one?

You are the second person I know who’s endorsed this book (the first being my eccentric fiction writing professor). I am *this* close to jumping on amazon and buying it.
