yeah…that’s pretty much commonly agreed. he does have a funny little piece in the new issue of zoetrope, though
have you read his earlier collections? Getting Even is worth picking up for “The Gossage-Vardebedian Papers” alone. Or, you could just find that piece online.

Interesting piece of meta-comment that refers back to itself in the void where ambition to be interesting would normally be. When people comment so lazily on the creators they fall so far short of being creators themselves. I guess that’s the point, or anti-point, of one-word reviews. We need more David Foster Wallace, less this.
